I've been asked by JMS to post the following on his behalf.

It's in response to an email I sent him earlier on Saturday about the reply to
Mark Blunden from SFX.

If anyone -- ANYONE -- says that some portion of this screening, ANY portion
of this screening, is going to Warner Bros., you need only need one reply:
"You're lying."

If WB accepts any money from this screening, it constitutes a theatrical
exhibition, and they will be hit up for royalties, residuals, and in all
likelihood, fines in the six figure range. That is incontrovertible; that is
not a matter of opinion or a rumor; that is the contractual language that
exists in the signatory agreement between WB and the various creative guilds.

And if you add up what the actors were offered to appear, only a fraction of
the 20 pound per person figure would cover the whole thing.

So if WB cannot -- CANNOT -- accept it, and the actors fees don't cover
anywhere NEAR that amount of money...someone's copping the balance.

Which, again, is a moot point: admission cannot be charged for this screening.
It is a violation of the guilds' agreements with WB, and if I have to
personally go to the Writers Guild and the Directors Guild to insure that this
is done, to guarantee fans the free showing that they were promised, then I
will do so.

The very notion that they're offering an "evening with the stars" is pretty
clear evidence that they realize that they were doing something inappropriate,
and are looking for ways to keep the money by changing the names around.
